of <h1>Central Board Approves New Service Tax Divisions in Raigad, Jaipur-I, Shillong, Trivandrum; Extra Range in Kota Added.</h1> The Central Board of Excise & Customs has approved the creation of separate Service Tax Divisions and Ranges in the Central Excise Commissionerates of Raigad, Jaipur-I, Shillong, and Trivandrum. Specifically, new divisions will be established in Jaipur-I, Raigad, Guwahati, and Trivandrum, with an additional range in Kota. The jurisdiction for these new formations will be determined by the respective Chief Commissioners, who will also initially allocate existing manpower to these divisions. The Directorate of Personnel & Management will assess the need for additional staff. Efforts are to be made to operationalize these divisions and ranges promptly.
