of <h1>International Customs Day 2014: Celebrate 'Communication' Theme, Nominate Candidates for WCO Merit Certificate by December 31st.</h1> The International Customs Day on 26th January 2014 will be celebrated with the theme 'Communication: sharing information for better cooperation.' Customs officers and private sector representatives who demonstrate commitment to this theme will be awarded the WCO Certificate of Merit. Nominations for suitable candidates, along with justification and necessary clearances, should be submitted to the Joint Secretary (Customs), CBEC by 31st December 2013. Submissions can be sent via email to the specified addresses. This initiative is part of the annual celebrations by WCO member states to honor the first session of the Customs Co-operation Council.
