of <h1>CBDT Updates Director Roles: FT&TR-I, FT&TR-III, APA to Handle Specific Tax and Agreement Matters.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has revised the work distribution among the Directors of FT&TR-I, FT&TR-III, and APA. The Director of FT&TR-I will handle Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements, Mutual Agreement Procedures, and tax administrative reforms related to North America and Europe. The Director of FT&TR-III will focus on the Exchange of Information, FATCA, and G-20 taxation matters. The Director of APA will manage bilateral and unilateral Advance Pricing Agreements and Transfer Pricing issues. This order, approved by the Chairperson of CBDT, is effective immediately.
