of <h1>Clarification on FTP 2009-2014: Paragraph 4.1.15 Exemptions for Transactions Completed Before August 1, 2013.</h1> The public notice clarifies the applicability of paragraph 4.1.15 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2009-2014, as amended by Notifications No. 31 and 48. Transactions with both export and import completed before August 1, 2013, are exempt from the updated provisions. If only exports were completed before this date, imports are allowed with an undertaking on the use of inputs. DFIAs marked as 'transferable' before August 1, 2013, are also exempt. For exports made on or after August 1, 2013, the provisions of paragraph 4.1.15 apply regardless of the import status.
