This extension aimed to assist taxpayers in manually filing their Audit Reports for the assessment year 2013-2014, in compliance with a previous order. The directive was issued to all Chief Commissioners and Directors General of Income Tax. The order also instructed relevant departments to publicize this extension on the departmental website and other platforms to ensure taxpayers were informed of the extended hours.
