of <h1>DGFT Allocates 6 Lakh MTs of Marble for Import; False Info Leads to Penalties and Future Bans.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a trade notice regarding the allocation of 6 lakh MTs of Rough Marble and Travertine Blocks for import during the 2013-14 financial year. Import authorizations will be issued from September 20 to September 25, 2013. Applicants providing false information will forfeit their allocation, face future allocation bans, and be subject to penalties under the Foreign Trade Act. License holders must submit monthly import returns to their respective Regional Authorities by the 15th of each month. An annexure lists 539 applicants with their allocated quantities.
