of <h1>Chennai Commissioner Appointed to Oversee Adjudication of DRI Show Cause Notice for Sharda Motors Case per Notification No.15/2002-Customs.</h1> The Central Board of Excise & Customs, under the Ministry of Finance, has appointed the Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Chennai Custom House as the Common Adjudicating Authority for a Show Cause Notice issued by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad. This notice, concerning M/s Sharda Motors Industries Ltd. and others, was initially issued by the Additional Director General of the DRI. The decision is in accordance with Notification No.15/2002-Customs (N.T.) and aims to centralize the adjudication process for this case. Copies of this order have been distributed to relevant customs authorities.
