of <h1>Delhi Introduces Streamlined Online Registration for DVAT/CST Act; Physical Verification Follows Within Three Months.</h1> The Department of Trade & Taxes, Delhi, introduced an online registration process for DVAT/CST Act starting April 1, 2013. Initially, pre-verification by VATI was required, but due to delays, it was decided that Ward VATO would grant registration based on the dealer's application and documents. Physical verification by VATI would occur within three months post-registration. The process includes online submission of basic details, PAN verification, and document uploads. A hard copy of the application is submitted to the ward, and the registration certificate is sent via registered post. Any adverse verification reports are addressed within three days.
