of <h1>Revised Standard Input Output Norms for Aluminum Products Announced Under Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has issued amendments to the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. These changes, detailed in Annexure 'A' of Public Notice No. 55/2008, specifically pertain to engineering products. For aluminum or aluminum alloy cast articles, including parts and components, the revised input-output norms now specify the import of 1.10 kg of aluminum scrap or 1.06 kg of aluminum ingot per kilogram of aluminum content in the export product. These amendments aim to streamline trade procedures and are issued in the public interest.
