of <h1>EOUs Using Imported Consumables No Longer Eligible for Benefits Under Notification No.8/97-CE as per Board's Decision.</h1> The circular addresses the eligibility of 100% Export Oriented Units (EOUs) for the benefits under Notification No.8/97-CE dated 1.3.97. It refers to a previous circular that extended these benefits to EOUs using imported consumables. Upon re-examination, the Board has decided to withdraw this extension, clarifying that EOUs using imported consumables will not be eligible for the benefits of the notification. The circular instructs trade and field formations to be informed of this decision and requests acknowledgment of receipt. A Hindi version of the circular will be provided subsequently.
