of <h1>DGFT Amends Foreign Trade Policy: Removes Electronic Reporting, Clarifies Text in Handbook 2004-09.</h1> Public Notice No. 48/(RE-2008)/2004-2009, dated July 8, 2008, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), amends the Handbook of Procedures 2004-09 Vol.I (RE-2008) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. In paragraph 5.9.1, the requirement to submit reports electronically on the DGFT website is removed. In paragraph 5.3.4, a comma is inserted between 'spares' and 'tools' to clarify the text. These amendments are made with the approval of the DGFT and are documented under file number 01/36/218/24/AM09/EPCG.I.
