of <h1>DGFT Confirms Export Ban on Non-Basmati Rice Under Transitional Arrangements; Para 9.12 Provisions Still Apply Per FTP 2004-09.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) clarifies the prohibition on exporting non-basmati rice under transitional arrangements as per the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. Effective from February 7, 2008, exports under these arrangements are not permitted, aligning with Notification No.77. However, provisions under Para 9.12 of the Hand Book of Procedures Vol. I (RE-2008)/2004-2009 remain applicable, allowing permissible facilities. This directive is issued with the approval of the DGFT.
