of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Amendment: Export Obligation Period Extended Automatically During Bans for Pre-Ban Authorizations, No Fee Required.</h1> Amendments have been made to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. 1 (RE-2008) under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. A new sub-paragraph is added to paragraph 4.22.1, stating that if a ban or restriction is imposed on the export of any product, the export obligation period for advance authorizations issued before the ban will be automatically extended for the duration of the ban without any composition fee. This amendment is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
