of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Amendment: Revised Application Fees for Duty Credit Schemes and IEC Number Issuance Explained.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures Vol.I - Appendix 21-C regarding the procedure of electronic fund transfer under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. The amendment specifies that the application fee for the Duty Entitlement Passbook and other duty credit schemes is set at two per thousand or part thereof, with a minimum of two hundred rupees and a maximum of one lakh fifty thousand rupees. For electronic applications, the maximum fee is capped at seventy-five thousand rupees. Additionally, the application fee for issuing a new IEC number is set at 250 rupees.
