of <h1>Foreign Trade Amendment: Changes to VKGUY Product Codes, Removal of Ice Cream, and Clarification on Casein Eligibility.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended Appendix 37A of the Handbook of Procedures under the Vishesh Krishi and Gram Udyog Yojana (VKGUY) as per the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. Changes include updating VKGUY Product Code 02 to cover items under ITC HS Codes 0407, 0408, and 0409, deleting Product Code 10.7 for ice cream, and excluding certain malted milk products from VKGUY benefits effective from April 17, 2008. Additionally, 'Casein' was clarified as ineligible for VKGUY benefits, and milk products under specific ITC HS codes will not receive VKGUY benefits from the same date.
