of <h1>New DEPB Rates Announced for Engineering Products and Chemicals Under Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has announced additions and amendments to the DEPB rate schedule under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009. New DEPB rates have been introduced for certain engineering products, including I.C. engines, gensets, and pumpsets, with rates ranging from 4% to 5%. Additionally, new rates for chemicals like Captopril USP and Het Diol have been set at 4% and 3%, respectively. The value cap for Cobalt Sulphate has been revised from Rs 350/- to Rs 550/- per kg. These changes are effective immediately and are issued in the public interest.
