of <h1>DEPB Rates Amended: Temporary Suspension for Engineering, Chemicals, and Non-Basmati Rice Exports Under Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended the Schedule of DEPB Rates under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009. Effective immediately, specific serial numbers within the Engineering and Chemicals product groups are temporarily suspended. Additionally, products from these groups will not qualify for DEPB benefits under certain miscellaneous product categories. The export of non-basmati rice is also excluded from DEPB rates under specified miscellaneous product serial numbers. These changes are issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
