of <h1>Government Seeks Exporters' Input for Revising 2008-09 Duty Drawback Rates; Data Submission Deadline April 5, 2008.</h1> The Joint Secretary of the Department of Drawback has issued a directive regarding the All Industry Rates of Duty Drawback for 2008-09. The scheme refunds duties paid on inputs and service tax for exported goods. The Ministry is revising these rates and requests comprehensive data on input materials used in exports. Exporters are asked to provide detailed information using a prescribed proforma, including costs and sales realization. Supporting documents like Bills of Entry and invoices should accompany the data. The deadline for submission is April 5, 2008. A government-appointed committee will oversee the formulation of the new rates.
