Director General of Foreign Trade Updates SION for Engineering Products in Handbook of Procedures 2004-2009.

The Director General of Foreign Trade has issued amendments, additions, deletions, and corrections to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.2) for 2004-2009, under the authority of the Foreign Trade Policy. These changes specifically address the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) for various engineering products. The amendments include adjustments to the quantities of import items allowed for specific export products such as brass foil, copper flats, sheets, strips, and barb arms. Detailed updates are provided in Annexure "A" to the public notice, aiming to align the norms with current trade practices and requirements.
