This change aims to prevent confusion and ensure proper revenue classification by differentiating these forms from the white TR-6 challans used for '0038-Union Excise Duties.' The decision follows a suggestion from the Principal Chief Controller of Accounts and is intended to facilitate correct scrolling of receipts at banks. Trade notices will be issued to inform designated banks and relevant parties of this new requirement.
