of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Handbook Amended: Proportional Duty Credit Scrip Allocation Revised for 2004-2009 Under Paragraph 2.4.</h1> Amendments have been made to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) for 2004-2009 by the Director General of Foreign Trade under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy. The changes pertain to the allocation of duty credit scrips under Para 3.8.6, as outlined in Public Notice No. 93 dated 27.12.2007. The allocation will be proportionate to the eligible claims of individual applications relative to the total claims of all status holders for each half-year period. The total benefits granted will not exceed the prescribed limit for each half-year. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
