of <h1>Trade Notice: New IEC Application Process Begins October 3, 2005, with Forms Available at Delhi Exporters Association.</h1> Trade Notice No. 07/2006, dated September 27, 2005, informs the trade community about the process for obtaining Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) numbers as per Para 2.9 of the Handbook of Procedures Vol. I. The Aayaat Niryaat Form, required for IEC application, is available at a nominal cost at the Delhi Exporters Association Counter. The form includes guidelines and a checklist for applicants. A yellow receipt will be provided as proof of application submission, eliminating the need to wait for a computerized receipt. Applications will be accepted at the IEC counter starting October 3, 2005.
