of <h1>Amendment to Export Notification: Limited Pulse Exports to Sri Lanka from Chennai Port Specified Under Foreign Trade Policy.</h1> The circular amends Notification No. 37(RE-06)/2004-2009, detailing procedures for exporting pulses to Sri Lanka under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009. It specifies that only 2000 metric tons of Masoor Dal and 200 metric tons of Green Gram can be exported. These exports are restricted to transit from Chennai Port in India to Point Pedro Port in Sri Lanka. The prohibition on pulse exports does not apply if specific permission is granted by the Director General of Foreign Trade. The notice is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
