of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: 'Bangkok Agreement' replaced with 'Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement' in Handbook, Paragraph 2.21.1 and Appendix 4-B.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures (Volume I) under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. Specifically, in Paragraph 2.21.1 and Paragraph 2.21.1(d), the term 'Bangkok Agreement' is replaced with 'Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA).' This change is also reflected in the heading of Appendix 4-B of the Handbook. These amendments are issued in the interest of the public and are authorized by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
