Orissa Exporters Can Now Obtain RCMC from Bhubaneshwar FIEO Office; Minor Forest Producers Have SHEFEXIL Option.

The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) for the period 2004-2009 under the Foreign Trade Policy. The amendment specifies that exporters with their head or registered offices in the State of Orissa can obtain their Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) from the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) office in Bhubaneshwar, regardless of the products they export. Additionally, exporters of minor forest produce from Orissa have the option to obtain their RCMC from the Shellac and Forest Products Export Promotion Council (SHEFEXIL). This amendment is issued in the public interest.
