of <h1>New General Note No.20 Added: Restrictions on Advance Authorization for Cotton Exports in Handbook of Procedures 2004-2009.</h1> Amendments have been made to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.2), 2004-2009, under the authority of the Director General of Foreign Trade. A new General Note No.20 has been added to the General Note for Textiles, specifying that Advance Authorization for the export of certain cotton products like bed linen and pillow covers will not be allowed under generic entries for made-ups. Additionally, previous General Notes No.16 and 17 have been renumbered as General Notes No.18 and 19, respectively. These changes are issued in the public interest.
