of <h1>Amendment to Public Notice Allocates 10,000 MT of White Sugar for EU Export Under Preferential Quota for 2006-07.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended Public Notice No. 57(RE-2006)/2004-2009, dated September 25, 2006, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. The amendment allocates 3912 MT of white sugar from the 2005-06 season's production and 6088 MT from the 2006-07 season's production for export to the EU as a preferential white sugar quota for the year 2006-07. This amendment is issued in the public interest and takes effect immediately.
