of <h1>Initial Export Obligation for Advance Licences (April-August 2004) Set at 24 Months, Excludes Deemed Exports.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade clarifies that the initial Export Obligation period for Advance Licences issued between April 1, 2004, and August 31, 2004, is set at 24 months. This excludes cases involving Advance Licence for Deemed Exports or projects/turnkey projects in India or abroad, where obligations must be met within the contracted project duration. Licence holders can present their licences to Regional Authorities for necessary actions without additional documents or fees. This notice is issued in the public interest.
