of <h1>EPCG Scheme Updates: Handbook Amendments Revise Para 5.7.2 & Clarify Export Obligations in Para 5.7.5.</h1> Amendments have been made to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I concerning the EPCG Scheme. In Paragraph 5.7.2, the reference to 'paragraph 5.7.3' is revised to 'Paragraph 5.4(iv) of the Foreign Trade Policy.' Paragraph 5.7.5 now clarifies that manufacturer exporters with authorizations under both the EPCG Scheme and Duty Exemption and Remission Schemes, as outlined in Chapter 4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, can count both physical and deemed exports towards fulfilling their export obligations under the EPCG Scheme. These changes are enacted under the authority of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009.
