of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Amended: Increased Sugar Export Quota to USA, Raising Tariff Rate Quota to 11,100 Metric Tons.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, specifically in Paragraphs 2.1, 2.4, and 2.29, to increase the quantity of sugar allocated for export to the USA. An additional 2,050 metric tons of raw sugar from the 2005-2006 season's production is allocated for export, raising the preferential Raw Cane Sugar Tariff Rate Quota from 9,050 metric tons to 11,100 metric tons for the period from October 1, 2005, to September 30, 2006. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
