of <h1>Amendments to Foreign Trade Policy: Agency Name Update & Removal of RBI Approval Requirement for Non-Resident Interests.</h1> Public Notice No. 83/2005, dated January 20, 2006, announces amendments to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. The Director General of Foreign Trade modifies the list of agencies authorized to issue Certificates of Origin (Non-Preferential) in Appendix 4C. Specifically, the name 'The Greater Mysore Chamber of Industry' is updated to 'Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce' in Karnataka. Additionally, in the Aayaat Niryaat Form, the requirement for a self-certified copy of RBI approval for non-resident interest/holding with repatriation benefits is removed. These changes are issued in the public interest.
