of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: New Agencies Added to Issue Certificates of Origin in India for Enhanced Trade Facilitation.</h1> Amendments have been made to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, by the Director General of Foreign Trade. New agencies have been added to Appendix 4C, which lists entities authorized to issue Certificates of Origin-Non Preferential. In Maharashtra, the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India and Nagar Road Industries Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture have been added. For tea exports, additional agencies in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and West Bengal have been included. These changes aim to facilitate trade and are issued in the public interest.
