of <h1>Exporters of Minor Forest Produce Must Obtain RCMC from Shellac Council per Amended Paragraph 3.12 of Trade Handbook.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended Paragraph 3.12 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) 2004-09 under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. The amendment mandates that exporters of minor forest produce and their value-added products must obtain a Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) from the Shellac Export Promotion Council. This is in addition to the existing requirement for exporters of drugs and pharmaceuticals to obtain RCMC from Pharmexcil. The amendment is issued in the public interest.
