of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Amendments: Deletions & Changes in SION for Chemicals and Plastics Effective Immediately.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has issued amendments, deletions, and additions to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. 2, 2004-2009, under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. Specific Standard Input Output Norms (SION) entries for chemicals and allied products, such as entries A-22 through A-320, have been deleted. Amendments to SION A-3016 include changes to item numbers and export documentation requirements. In the plastic products category, entries H-45 and H-66 are deleted, and amendments to entries H-206, H-207, H-209, and H-210 specify revised import quantities for polyester-related products. These changes are effective immediately.
