of <h1>DGFT Updates Trade Policy: New Districts in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra Added for Exports; Tirupur Chamber Authorized for Certificates.</h1> Public Notice No. 52/2005, dated September 16, 2005, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade, amends the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. In Appendix 8, amendments are made to include specific districts in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra for products like cut flowers, pomegranates, and oranges. Additionally, the Tirupur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tamil Nadu is added to Appendix 4-C as an authorized agency for issuing non-preferential Certificates of Origin. These changes are implemented in the public interest.
