of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: No Extension for Export Obligation Period on Advance Licenses for Penicillin and 6-APA Imports.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended paragraph 4.22.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I), 2004-2009, under the Foreign Trade Policy. The amendment specifies that the extension of the export obligation period will not be granted for advance licenses involving the import of penicillin and its salts (ITC(HS) Code No. 29411010) and 6-APA (ITC(HS) Code No. 29411050) as inputs. Licensing authorities must endorse this restriction on the advance licenses. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
