of <h1>India Allocates 8150 Tons Raw Sugar for US Export Under Preferential Tariff for 2005.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has allocated 8150 metric tons of raw sugar for export to the USA under a preferential tariff rate quota for the fiscal year 2005. This allocation is designated to M/s. Indian Sugar Exim Corporation Ltd., New Delhi, as per the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. The export falls under code No. 1701 00 00 in the ITC(HS) Classifications for Export and Import Items. Existing procedures for obtaining GSP certificates and other necessary certifications for sugar export to the USA will remain in effect. This decision is made in the public interest.
