of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: New Guidelines for Suppliers and Recipients in Handbook of Procedures, 2004-2009.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009. The amendment involves substituting sub-para 8.6(i) with new guidelines. Suppliers must now apply using the form in Appendix-12B and submit required documents to the Regional Licensing Authority. Additionally, recipients can claim benefits if they provide a suitable disclaimer from the supplier and a non-availment of CENVAT credit certificate from the Jurisdictional Excise Authority, alongside other required documents. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
