The amendment allows the State Trading Corporation to import vegetable fats (Vanaspati) up to a specified annual quota, in addition to the Central Ware Housing Corporation. This change is made under the authority granted by the Export and Import Policy 2002-2007 and aims to facilitate trade between India and Nepal. All other conditions outlined in the previous public notice remain unchanged.
