of <h1>Onion Export Quota Increased for 2002-03: 18,000 MTs Reallocated to Spices Trading Corp and Karnataka Marketing Federation.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has announced an additional quota for onion exports for the year 2002-03, valid until March 31, 2003. The quota is allocated to Spices Trading Corporation Ltd. (15,000 MTs) and the Karnataka State Co-operative Marketing Federation Ltd. (3,000 MTs). This allocation is reallocated from the unutilized quota of the National Agricultural Co-operative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. The export is subject to conditions outlined in a prior notification dated June 28, 2002. This decision is made in the public interest.
