of <h1>Export Obligations Extended for Gujarat Units Affected by 2001 Earthquake; Includes EPCG and Advance Licensing Schemes.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures for units in Gujarat affected by the earthquake on January 26, 2001. The amendments include a declaration of 2000-2001 as a blank year for monitoring export obligations for EOU/EPZ/SEZ units in affected areas. An extension of one year is granted for export obligations under the EPCG Scheme, Advance Licensing Scheme, and validity of licences like DEPB and DFRC. Affected units can submit duplicate documents, and deadlines for applications are extended to December 31, 2001. These measures aim to support recovery and compliance for impacted units.
