of <h1>NTPC and WBPDCL Power Projects Eligible for Deemed Export Benefits Under Exim Policy 1997-2002, Paragraph 10.3.</h1> Under the Exim Policy 1997-2002, the Faridabad Gas based Power Station and Simhadri Thermal Power Project (II) of NTPC, along with Bakreshwar Thermal Power Project (III) of WBPDCL, are eligible for deemed export benefits. These projects, funded by OECF, will receive benefits as per paragraph 10.3 of the policy, even after OECF assistance ends. If future OECF funding does not materialize, the respective project authority must reimburse the deemed export benefits to the Indian government. This decision, made in consultation with the Ministry of Finance, serves the public interest.
