of <h1>DGFT Updates Handbook: New Agencies for Certificates, Self-Declaration for EPCG, Export Obligation Extensions, and Service Exporter Requirements.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. 1), 1997-2002, under the Export and Import Policy. Key changes include adding the Indian Chemical Manufacturers Association to the list of agencies authorized to issue Certificates of Origin-Non preferential, and allowing applicants to apply for EPCG licenses based on self-declaration. Amendments also address export obligation extensions, bank guarantee requirements, and adjustments to product descriptions and DEPB rates in Appendix-28A. Additionally, service exporters are now required to obtain RCMC from FIEO. These amendments aim to streamline trade procedures and obligations.
