of <h1>Deemed Export Benefits Extended to Talcher-II and Sasaram Projects Under EXIM Policy 1997-2002, Paragraph 10.2(d.</h1> Deemed export benefits are extended to the Talcher-II, Talcher-II Transmission, and Sasaram HVDC East-North Interconnector projects under Paragraph 10.2(d) of the EXIM Policy 1997-2002. These projects, potentially financed by the World Bank, will receive benefits as outlined in Paragraph 10.3 of the EXIM Policy. If World Bank financing does not materialize, the benefits will still apply under Paragraph 10.2, with the condition that the Power Grid Corporation will reimburse the cash equivalent of benefits to suppliers. This decision, made in consultation with the Ministry of Finance, aims to support these projects in the public interest.
