of <h1>Amendment Removes Powder Milk and Ghee from Negative Import List under ITC(HS) 1997-2002, Schedule 2, Appendix 1.</h1> The public notice dated October 13, 1998, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade, announces amendments to the 'ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1997-2002.' Specifically, it removes 'powder milk' and 'ghee' from the negative list of imports under Schedule 2, Appendix 1, at Serial No. 29. These changes are made under the authority of the Foreign Trade Development and Regulation Act, 1992, and the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, in the interest of public welfare.
