of <h1>Export Obligation Deadline for Old Advance Licenses Extended to March 31, 1999, per Exim Policy 1997-2002.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has announced an extension for fulfilling export obligations under old advance licenses. Originally set to expire on 30th September 1998, the deadline is now extended to 31st March 1999. This decision follows requests from exporters and associations for more time. The extension is granted under the authority of the Exim Policy 1997-2002 and adheres to the conditions outlined in Public Notice No. 7 (RE-98) dated 24th April 1998. This measure is taken in the public interest to accommodate exporters facing difficulties.
