of <h1>Automobile Manufacturers with DGFT MoU Now Eligible for Export Warehousing under Notification 26/98-CE.</h1> Central Excise Circular No. 505/01/2000-CX, dated January 3, 2000, specifies that all automobile manufacturers who have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) are now classified as exporters eligible for export warehousing under notification number 26/98-CE (N.T.) dated July 15, 1998. The procedures outlined in Board's Circular No. 422/55/98-CX dated September 21, 1998, are to be followed. Relevant trade and field formations are to be informed, and acknowledgment of receipt of this circular is requested.
