of <h1>Expired Advance Licences from Exim Policy 1992-97 Now Transferable if Export Obligations Met by 1997 Deadline.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has announced that Advance Licences issued under the Exim Policy 1992-97 can be endorsed for transferability even if their validity has expired, provided the export obligations were completed by December 31, 1997. Exporters who faced difficulties in completing the necessary documentation and procedural formalities can submit their requests to the Licensing Authority by February 20, 1998. The authorities will finalize the endorsement process by March 31, 1998. This measure is intended to facilitate trade operations and is issued in the public interest.
