<h1>New Seaports and ICDs Added to Export-Import Policy 1997-2002: Kakinada, Agra, Faridabad, Jaipur, Guntur, Nagpur, Varanasi.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) for the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, by adding new seaports and Inland Container Depots (ICDs) to the list in paragraph 7.19. Kakinnada is specified as a new seaport, while Agra, Faridabad, Jaipur, Guntur, Nagpur, and Varanasi are designated as new ICDs. This amendment is issued in the public interest under the authority granted by paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, as notified in the Gazette of India.
