of <h1>Indian Rupee Value Revised to Rs. 45.6542 for Deferred Payment Contracts with Russia, Effective January 23, 1998.</h1> The public notice issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade addresses the revision of the Indian Rupee value against the Russian Rouble for deferred payment contracts. These contracts were established under protocols dated April 30, 1981, and December 23, 1985, between India and the former USSR for machinery and equipment deliveries. The Reserve Bank of India has revised the value of the Special Currency Basket to Rs. 45.6542, effective January 23, 1998. This revision applies to all deferred payment contracts under the specified protocols.
